THE PINK PRIDE
MACARTHUR'S BREAST CANCER SUPPORT GROUP
A Pride is a group of Lions/Lionesses.
Pride also means "a feeling of deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one's own achievements".
Pink symbolising - health, happiness, love, feminism, compassion, kindness and of course breast cancer.

A Gathering of Women/Lionesses who have achieved amazing things, who are present to support, encourage and share their experiences together. The idea is that the Pride will provide space for education, support, motivation, connection and much more among local women who have been affected by breast cancer.
SUPPORT FROM WOMEN LIKE YOU!
Recovery from cancer can take a long time and you may never be the same person you were prior to your diagnosis. Many people benefit from the shared experiences and knowledge of others, and feel better knowing that they are normal and not alone!

Our Pride Members are a great source of experience, encouragement, support and advice!
DON'T LET CANCER CONTROL YOU AND DEFINE YOU!
Our Pride also has access to many local health and wellness practitioners who are hear ready to share their expertise and support! From diet, to mental health, to sexual health and more, any question is welcome and we will do our best answer it for you!
